Location: Remote with onsite (3-4 days a month in Madison, WI).

Key Responsibilities
- Lead UX design on a critical workstream, partnering with internal/external stakeholders across medical technology portfolios.
- Generate low- and high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes; participate in user studies; create UI visual designs; and support design transfer to software teams.
- Collaborate with the experience design team on broader initiatives supporting the ecosystem.
- Explore and conceptualize onboarding/learning strategies to enhance end-to-end user experiences.
- Effectively communicate design ideas/concepts to diverse internal stakeholders.
- Create production-ready assets for software implementation; collaborate with engineers to resolve challenges and propose alternatives.
Required Qualifications
- Design degree with minimum 10 years as a UX Designer, Interaction Designer, UX Architect, or similar role.
- High proficiency in digital design/prototyping tools: Figma, Sketch, Principle, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, etc.), and others.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating full product development phases (process and outputs).
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Proven experience in very large enterprises designing UI for public-facing applications.
Resume Must-Haves (Quantify Years for Each):
- Years as UX/UI Designer.
- Years with Figma, Sketch, Principle, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, etc.), and other design tools.
- Years in Very Large Enterprise environments (public-facing app design).
- Years in Medical Device/Medical Technology (preferred but not required).
- Years leading user studies, prototyping, and stakeholder collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or medical technology sectors.
- Background in hardware-UI integration and ecosystem-wide design initiatives.
