We are seeking a strategic and creative Marketing Manager to lead campaign development and manage our digital presence. The ideal candidate is passionate about inclusive entrepreneurship, has a proven track record in campaign execution, and knows how to build authentic engagement across social platforms. This role will play a critical part in amplifying our mission, reaching new audiences, and supporting the success of our New Majority founders.

Your Role:

Campaign Strategy & Execution

Develop and lead integrated marketing campaigns that elevate the organization’s brand and mission.

Collaborate with internal teams (programs, research & development) to align messaging and goals.

Manage campaign timelines, creative briefs, and performance metrics.

Identify strategic partnerships and co-marketing opportunities that extend campaign reach.

Serve as the primary liaison for information and media inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses.

Social Media Management

Own the strategy, planning, and day-to-day management of all social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, etc.).

Create and curate compelling content that resonates with underrepresented entrepreneurs, investors, and community partners.

Monitor performance, trends, and engagement metrics to optimize content and drive growth.

Respond to community comments and foster dialogue with followers.

Content Creation & Brand Storytelling

Develop and update content across key marketing channels, including the website, Eko app, CRM platform, and any other relevant touchpoints.

Curate a wide range of campaign assets, including founder spotlights, blog posts, video scripts, email marketing (Mailchimp), digital ads, event materials, PR content, and guerrilla marketing activations.

Ensure brand consistency across all digital and print communications.

Leverage storytelling to highlight portfolio companies, impact data, and community success stories.

Analytics & Reporting

Track KPIs for campaigns and social media, providing actionable insights and monthly reports.

Run A/B test messaging and creativity to continuously refine strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Media, Public Relations, and/or equivalent work experience.
4+ years of marketing experience required, preferably in nonprofit or VC/Investing environments.
Strong knowledge of social media best practices, campaign development, and brand strategy
Excellent communication and content creation skills (visual and written).
Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Suite, Canva, Buffer/Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, or similar platforms.
Experience managing digital advertising budgets.
Passion for equity, entrepreneurship, and systems change.
Experience engaging communities of color, women founders, or other historically marginalized groups is a plus.
Excellent writing and editing skills.
Proven capacity to manage multiple ongoing communications projects simultaneously, including projects with a combination of internal and external stakeholders.
Experience with event and conference-related marketing communications is desirable.
