New Harbinger is a book publishing company with a history of innovation. More than fifty years ago our founder pioneered the self-help workbook, which has become ubiquitous in evidence-based therapy. We continue to innovate today with TherapyAssist: our HIPAA-compliant SaaS platform that helps therapists assign evidence-based resources and facilitates work between sessions.
We’re looking for a contract Product Marketing Manager to support our digital products through staff leave and time-limited special projects. Over the next six months, you’ll help us review and implement the results of a user research study for TherapyAssist—our HIPAA compliant SAAS platform—and drive marketing efforts for both TherapyAssist and our online trainings via Praxis CET. This role combines product management and marketing strategy execution.
Product Management
- Collaborate across teams to review findings of user research study and update the roadmap for TherapyAssist.
- Work with developers and internal teams to wireframe, outline, and track implementation of new features and product improvements—moving from point A to B on the product roadmap.
Marketing Management
- Create and execute marketing campaigns that drive awareness, sign-ups, and usage of both TherapyAssist and Praxis trainings.
- Write high-converting marketing copy for emails, landing pages, social ads, and product updates.
- Oversee campaign performance metrics, using analytics to inform ongoing optimization.
CRM & Pipeline Management
- Review and improve conversion strategy for TherapyAssist, with the goal of converting more free trial users into paying customers.
- Work with sales to manage and optimize our CRM funnel, ensuring alignment between lead generation and sales/retention/conversion goals.
- Build and refine email automation sequences for:
- Therapist onboarding (TherapyAssist)
- Course registration, reminders, and post-training follow-ups (Praxis trainings)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in SaaS product management and, ideally, marketing
- Proficiency with product development tools (Figma), Marketing Platforms (Klaviyo, Active Campaign), and CRM Systems (Hubspot, Salesforce)
- Demonstrated experience with campaign management, lifecycle marketing, and user acquisition
- Fluency with user data, capable translating observations for other stakeholders, leading to actionable product decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for writing marketing copy and user-facing content
Preferred
- Experience marketing educational products or content, ideally continuing education for professionals
- Knowledge of UX/UI principles and ability to wireframe or prototype new features
- Track record of launching successful SaaS products and digital campaigns that drove measurable growth
- A passion for mental health, particularly for supporting clinicians who deliver evidence-based care
