About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer with a product-first mindset to join our distributed team on a contractor basis. You’ll work closely with our Product, Engineering, and Leadership teams to design interfaces and experiences that feel effortless, human, and scalable.

This is a hands-on senior role for someone who can balance user empathy with business goals and who thrives in structured, collaborative environments.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design process from research and wireframes to pixel-perfect prototypes in Figma.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and data-driven iterations to validate design decisions.
• Develop and maintain scalable design systems and UI component libraries.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and QA to ensure high-quality delivery and consistency across platforms.
• Advocate for user experience best practices and accessibility (WCAG) standards.
• Translate business objectives into elegant, functional, and intuitive designs that perform at scale.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of experience in UI/UX, ideally across SaaS, eCommerce, or platform-based products.
• Expert in Figma, prototyping, and modern design tools.
• Deep understanding of design systems, responsive design, and usability principles.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking, problem-solving, and measurable impact.
• Excellent English communication skills — able to present and defend design decisions with clarity.
• Experience collaborating in distributed, cross-functional teams across time zones.
• Bonus: familiarity with analytics, CRO, and regulatory UX nuances (GDPR, cookie consent, etc.).
