About the Role

You're a senior builder on a data-heavy, AI-integrated platform. High-volume data comes in through event pipelines, gets modelled for both transactional and analytical use, runs through LLM-powered analysis, and comes out in a data-dense product UI — all on AWS.

Not a features-in-someone-else's-codebase role. You take a slice of the platform, design it, build it, ship it, and keep it healthy.

What You'll Work With

• Backend: Go (Gin, GORM, pgx, job queues) and Python (FastAPI, Pydantic v2, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, async)
• Data and messaging: Kafka, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis, S3
• AI/NLP: OpenAI and Anthropic SDKs with structured outputs, grounding, and evaluation; sentiment analysis and high-performance regex for compliance pattern matching
• Frontend: React 18 + TypeScript, Vite, TanStack Query, MUI (data grids, charts)
• Infra: Docker, Kubernetes via Helm on EKS, ECR, GitLab CI, dev to staging to UAT to prod, OpenTelemetry and structured logging
• Quality: pytest and Go test suites, containerized integration tests, ruff, mypy, ESLint

Responsibilities

• Turn requirements into service design, then build and ship it
• Build high-volume ingestion, event-driven workers, and LLM integration with proper guardrails
• Design schemas and data models that hold up as data grows
• Own your deployments end to end, including CI, migrations, and what happens after they land
• Instrument the platform, watch it, and fix it when it breaks
• Work across the stack when the work demands it, frontend included

Required

• 3+ years building production systems with real ownership
• Deep fluency in Go or Python, and willing to be productive in the other
• Multi-service design: data models, APIs, queues, idempotency, trade-offs
• Strong data work: schema design, migrations, query performance, retention
• Kafka or comparable: consumers, partitioning, replay, backpressure
• LLMs in a real product, not a one-off API call
• You take systems to production yourself: containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability
• Enough React and TypeScript to build and debug a data-dense UI
• Clear communication on technical trade-offs

Strong Plus

• ClickHouse or another columnar store at volume
• Document and PDF extraction, file ingestion pipelines
• Audit logging, RBAC, PII masking, DPDPA or GDPR
• Multi-language text handling
• Based in or near Gurugram, or able to visit the client site a few times a month

Compensation & Setup

The project is based in Gurugram; occasional client-site visits are a strong plus. High ownership, high accountability, bias toward action. Compensation is competitive and set to your experience — we discuss specifics early and openly.
