About Neurality Health AI
Neurality Health AI is building the AI operating system for healthcare practices. We deploy voice, text, and workflow automation agents that help clinics handle front-office and back-office work more efficiently — from patient communication and scheduling to operational workflows that reduce staff burden and improve patient access.
We work closely with healthcare operators and customers to bring AI into real-world practice environments where reliability, workflow fit, and user experience matter as much as raw model performance.
The Role
We are hiring a Product Engineer to help design and build AI-powered healthcare workflows that actually work in live practice settings.
This is not a traditional PM role, and it is not a purely technical engineering role. We are looking for someone who sits in the middle: a person with a strong technical foundation who is equally obsessed with healthcare operations, workflow design, and product experience.
Because AI can increasingly handle large parts of code generation, we believe the highest-leverage builders are those who deeply understand:
how operational workflows really work,
where users get confused or blocked,
how to turn messy real-world problems into elegant product behavior,
and how to move quickly with engineers to ship solutions.
You should be comfortable going from customer pain point to product spec to prototype to shipped workflow.
What You’ll Do
Work directly with founders, customers, and engineering to design product experiences for healthcare AI agents and workflow tools
Translate messy operational problems from practices, call centers, and admin teams into clear product requirements
Own workflows end to end across voice, text, web, and back-office operations
Design user experiences for AI-human collaboration, including escalation paths, edge cases, fallback behavior, and operational controls
Write product requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria that engineers can execute against quickly
Prototype and iterate on internal and customer-facing product experiences using modern AI-assisted development tools
Partner with engineering to ensure shipped products are reliable, intuitive, and operationally scalable
Spend meaningful time with customers and customer success to understand implementation pain points and workflow gaps
Help define what “great” looks like for AI product UX in healthcare, especially in environments with imperfect systems and legacy workflows
Use data, customer feedback, and operational insights to improve product performance over time
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
Strong technically, even if they are not a career software engineer
Deeply interested in healthcare operations, workflow bottlenecks, and user experience
Able to think like a builder, operator, and product owner at the same time
Comfortable working in ambiguity and figuring things out from first principles
Excited by AI-native product development, where speed, iteration, and judgment matter more than perfect specs
Required Qualifications
3+ years in product, product engineering, solutions engineering, implementation, healthcare operations, or a similarly cross-functional builder role
Strong technical fluency: able to understand APIs, data flows, system behavior, and engineering tradeoffs
Experience turning real-world operational requirements into product workflows or software features
Strong product taste and intuition around UX, especially for workflow-heavy products
Ability to write clear specs and communicate effectively with engineers, founders, and operators
Comfort using AI coding tools, prototyping tools, and modern product development workflows
Strong ownership mindset and willingness to get into details
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare, healthtech, dental, medical practice operations, or EHR/PMS workflow environments
Experience with AI products, conversational AI, workflow automation, or operational software
Experience designing products used by frontline staff, operations teams, or customer-facing teams
Familiarity with implementation, onboarding, customer success, or operational rollout work
Ability to prototype directly in code, even if not operating as a full-time software engineer
What Success Looks Like
In this role, success means:
You quickly understand the operational reality of our customers
You identify the highest-friction workflow problems worth solving
You help turn those problems into simple, usable product experiences
You improve speed from customer feedback to shipped solution
You make our AI products feel trustworthy, intuitive, and operationally valuable in real healthcare environments
Why This Role Matters
AI makes building faster. That means the bottleneck is increasingly no longer just writing code — it is understanding the user, the workflow, the edge cases, and the product experience deeply enough to build the right thing.
At Neurality, we believe the best product builders in this next wave will be people who combine:
technical judgment,
operational empathy,
product instinct,
and execution speed.
