As we expand in the Philippines, we seek highly motivated engineers to join our team. We are hiring an experienced Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to elevate our software quality through automation and scalable testing strategies.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on end-to-end test automation, CI/CD integration, and quality engineering. At Netzwelt, we work in small, self-directed teams, and our leaders are service-oriented problem-solvers. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to enhance product quality and streamline the testing lifecycle.
You’ll be at the forefront of establishing a software quality engineering practice for a large-scale, Digital Certificate Lifecycle Management Platform that will be used by companies in Europe to secure data-intensive processes that involve user, mobile, and IoT devices. across the continent.
You're a good fit if:

Responsibilities
- Perform deep dives on actual application source code to identify how tests can be written.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing.
- Design and execute automated test scripts using JavaScript or C#
- Perform root cause analysis on test failures and collaborate with developers for fixes.
- Ensure scalability and efficiency of test execution through parallel and distributed testing.
- Conduct API testing with tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
- Implement performance test suites using JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, K6, or NBomber
- Attend daily calls with colleagues in Germany during core business hours (3pm to 8pm PHT)
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a software developer
- 3+ years of experience in Test Automation
- Proficiency in programming using Javascript and C#
- Automating operating systems tasks by writing Bash and Powershell scripts
- Experience with modern test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Puppeteer).
- Strong background in API testing and automation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Project experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, K6, or NBomber)
- Working knowledge of relational databases and writing SQL queries.
Preferred Qualifications
To qualify for the top of the salary range, you must have demonstrable project experience (in the past 90 days) or active certifications on at least 2 of the following preferred experience:
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Swarm/Kubernetes) of .NET applications (both Linux and Windows Server containers)
- Knowledge of security testing (OWASP, DAST, SAST tools).
- Expertise in performance engineering and system profiling
- Working experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience integrating with directory services (LDAP, Active Directory)
- ISTQB Test Manager Certified (CTAL-TM)
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
