About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX/UI Designer with over five years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strategic thinker who can own the entire design lifecycle, from initial research and user flows to the final high-fidelity interface and developer handoff. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of user behavior, business objectives, and scalable design systems. This position is pivotal in shaping the digital experiences that Tutubi offers, ensuring they are not only visually appealing but also highly functional and user-friendly. The Senior UX/UI Designer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and marketers to create seamless, high-performing digital products that drive engagement and conversion.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating problem-solving capabilities and shipped products.
• Proficiency in advanced Figma skills, including auto layout, components, variants, and design systems.
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable design systems, including tokens, component libraries, and comprehensive documentation.
• Expertise in prototyping tools such as Figma, ProtoPie, or Principle, with the ability to create complex interactions and animations.
• Solid understanding of UX foundations, including information architecture, user flows, heuristics, and usability testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with research and analytics tools like Maze, Hotjar, Google Analytics, or Mixpanel to inform design decisions.
• Experience in creating clear specifications, redlines, and collaborating with developers through tools like Zeplin or Figma handoff features.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), responsive design, and mobile-first principles.
• Proficiency with agile project management tools such as Jira, Notion, and Slack.
• Ability to justify design choices with data, user insights, and logical reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process for web and mobile products, ensuring a cohesive user experience across platforms.
• Translate product ideas into detailed user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Conduct usability testing sessions, analyze feedback, and iterate on designs based on data-driven insights.
• Develop, maintain, and scale comprehensive design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align design solutions with business goals.
• Participate in user research and incorporate findings into the design process to enhance usability and engagement.
• Ensure accessibility standards are integrated into all designs, promoting inclusive user experiences.
• Support developers during implementation by providing detailed specifications and assets to facilitate smooth development workflows.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools to continuously improve design quality and processes.
