POSITION SUMMARY:

As Marketing Manager, State, Local, and Education (SLED), you will work closely with sales and marketing leaders to develop and execute high-touch marketing programs targeting state and local agencies as well as educational institutions. You will also collaborate with partner marketing, product marketing, content marketing, media relations and other cross-functional teams to implement these plans.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Coordinate Account-Based marketing and execution with sales & marketing stakeholders to build marketing events and program calendar for SLED.
Research RFP opportunities for various public sector segments and organizations.
Research industry events and opportunities, evaluating sponsorship based on objectives and target audience.
Help plan campaigns encompassing regional events, webinars, trade shows, email, direct mail, digital, social, and third-party sponsorships.
Help manage program budgets, calendars, and execution timelines.
Support sales enablement by adjusting current and/or creating new marketing materials for the SLED team.
Work with campaign and event managers to track campaign success, determine ROI, report results and make recommendations to sales and marketing teams.
Work with other team members including events, sales enablement, product, operations, channel, and growth marketing.

Qualifications/Experience:

5+ years of relevant experience, with 2+ years working with state and local government agencies, educational institutions, public sector partners, distributors, and influencers.
Experience managing and implementing regional events, webinars, trade shows, and third-party sponsorships.
Experience with analytics and a passion for proving marketing results across the marketing and sales funnel.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed
Location: San Francisco or San Diego metro areas.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience required.
