Technical Designer

Responsibilities:

The Technical Product Designer will have the primary responsibility of creating and documenting the technical product design across different product areas.

This role requires close collaboration with the Product Heads, Application Managers, and Idea Owners to ensure that there is a proper and documented technical design on the components that Netbank needs to build:

• Work with the Product Heads, Application Managers, and Idea Owners to identify the components to be designed and documented.
• Create process flow diagrams to illustrate both the user experience and technical processes.
• Create a detailed API technical documentation for API endpoints to be developed.
• Create wireframes and mock-ups to visualize the intended UI/UX design.
• Convert the process flows functions and API technical documentation to JIRA tickets with a complete set of user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Work with the Product Delivery and Development teams to clear out questions regarding the requirements, processes, and documentation.
• Ensure that the designs are aligned and within the design structure and standards of the existing components.
• Seek the approval of Product Heads for all designs.
• Report and document the updates into the project monitoring system.
• Perform other duties and assignments that may be assigned.

The position will be based in Manila, but remote working is possible. It will initially report to the founders and the Head of New IT Initiatives.

• Product/Solution Design and Documentation: The products and components arising from the product design of Product Heads should all have their corresponding documented designs.

Required skills and qualifications

• Filipino national
• Has experience as a Business Analyst, Process Designer, or a similar role.
• Knowledgeable in creating user experience process flows
• Knowledgeable in creating UI Mock-ups
• Knowledgeable with how Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) work
• Knowledgeable in creating API call flows
• Knowledgeable in creating API technical documentation/specifications
• Knowledgeable in using Lucidchart is a plus
• Knowledgeable in Design Thinking Process is a plus
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal and capable of effectively communicating with internal units or escalate issues and concerns
• Familiarity with the different stages/aspects of the product development and management is a plus
• Experience with the Agile Methodology and SCRUM Framework is a plus
• Familiarity with using Postman to simulate APIs is a plus
• Highly meticulous and detail-oriented
