Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Software Engineer who can own our codebase and take it to the next level. This means ensuring a rock-solid production environment, managing Git branches and deployments, and contributing directly to feature development. You'll work across our React-based frontend, AI components (LLMs, RAG), and backend services to create a fast, reliable, and intelligent hiring platform.

What You’ll Do:

• Own codebase reliability: Ensure that the production branch is stable, scalable, and well-documented.
• Write code that ships: Design and implement new features in React and backend components.
• Architect for scale: Proactively improve system design and modularity to handle growing usage.
• Integrate AI tools: Work with large language models (LLMs), RAG pipelines, and other AI tools.
• Manage releases: Oversee Git workflows, pull requests, commits, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solve problems quickly: Debug and resolve live issues with urgency and discipline.
• Collaborate with the founding team to prioritize technical debt vs. new features.

You’ll Succeed If You Have:

• 3+ years of full-stack or frontend engineering experience.
• Strong experience with React (Hooks, component architecture, performance tuning).
• Experience deploying production systems with reliability and Git best practices.
• Comfort working with APIs, databases, and Node.js or similar backend environments.
• Understanding of LLMs (e.g. OpenAI, LangChain) and how to build with RAG models.
• A product mindset — you care about the end user experience.

Bonus Points For:

• Unity or video integration experience.
• Experience with Firebase or cloud functions.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering or vector database querying.
• Startup experience or having shipped products from scratch.
