Front End Software Engineer

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Front End Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Neighborbrite. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and building user-centric and performant web and app interfaces, ensuring seamless and engaging experiences for our users throughout their home renovation process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain high-quality, responsive web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Implement modern front-end architectures and best practices to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of the codebase.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring a smooth user experience across various devices and browsers.
• Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies and industry trends, applying new techniques and tools to enhance our platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Front End Software Engineer, with a strong portfolio of web applications.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript and frontend frameworks React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and React Native.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Generative AI such as ChatGPT, LLMs, and OpenAI APIs.
• Backend skills in Python Flask/FastAPI are a plus.
• Prior experience in a startup environment is a plus.
