Avaloq Software Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for an Avaloq Technical Specialist to join our team in a limited-term capacity (6-12 months). This role can be based in either the Isle of Man or the UK, with remote work options available.

eThe role holder will be part of the Middleware team, responsible for the development, integration, and ongoing enhancement of the Avaloq banking platform. This role is vital in ensuring the platform operates efficiently, securely, and in compliance, supporting both business needs and client expectations. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality middleware solutions that integrate Avaloq with external systems and other key services

Responsibilities & Duti

• esCollaborate with internal stakeholders (business analysts, project managers, technical teams) to understand integration requirements and deliver innovative middleware solutions using the Avaloq banking platfor
• m.Design, develop, and configure middleware solutions to facilitate communication between Avaloq and other systems (external banking services, client management systems, regulatory platforms
• ).Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues within the integration between the Avaloq platform and middlewar
• e.Ensure the efficient operation of the Avaloq platform, including integration with APIs, web services, and database
• s.Ensure middleware solutions comply with regulatory standards and internal security policies, adapting as necessary to meet evolving requirement
• s.Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation and system manuals for middleware components and integration
• s.Provide technical support to internal teams regarding Avaloq integration challenge
• s.Participate in deploying middleware upgrades and patches to ensure minimal disruption to service
• s.Work with security teams to ensure middleware solutions are secure and compliant with data protection and regulatory standard
• s.Mentor junior developers and stakeholders to ensure effective use of Avaloq middleware component
• s.Continuously review integrations to suggest improvements and innovations to meet the business’s evolving need
