Nectar primarily works with brands to scale their sales on third-party marketplaces like Amazon. However, Nectar also develops websites for its clients and manages their paid social and search along with their email marketing. In addition to marketing and services, Nectar has its own analytics platform, iDerive, which it uses to manage its clients’ businesses and sells as a stand-alone platform.

Role Overview
- The Content & Digital Marketing Strategist plays a key role in shaping the digital storytelling and performance marketing strategies that power Nectar’s client brands. This position requires a balance of creativity and analytical thinking — developing engaging, conversion-driven content while aligning it with broader business goals. The ideal candidate understands how to connect content with measurable results, managing campaigns across email, blog, and other digital channels to enhance visibility, engagement, and retention. This is a mid-level role, ideal for someone experienced in digital marketing who is ready to take ownership of content strategy execution and optimization
Key Responsibilities
- Research digital and content trends to propose monthly strategy ideas aligned with partner goals.
- Plan, outline, and oversee blog and email marketing campaigns, ensuring messaging consistency and alignment with brand tone.
- Develop and write compelling content including subject lines, preview text, body copy, CTAs, and blog posts optimized for SEO and conversion
- Create detailed campaign briefs for review and approval by internal stakeholders or client partners.
- Build, schedule, and manage email campaigns in Klaviyo using approved content and visuals.
- Conduct testing, QA, and performance checks to ensure timely, error-free delivery.
- Develop and refine automated email flows that support the customer journey and key lifecycle touchpoints.
- Track and analyze campaign performance, presenting actionable insights to optimize engagement, retention, and conversion.
- Collaborate closely with creative, advertising, and analytics teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all digital channels.
- Stay up to date on best practices for SEO, content marketing, and email automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in digital content strategy, marketing analytics, or campaign optimization.
- Proven ability to manage and execute content and email marketing initiatives using tools such as Klaviyo, Shopify, and SEMrush.
- Skilled in leveraging AI-assisted content creation tools including Jasper, ChatGPT, and Gemini to enhance efficiency and maintain brand tone consistency.
- Proficient in project management and communication platforms such as Monday.com and Slack, ensuring seamless coordination within remote and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience using Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, and related platforms to assess performance and inform optimization strategies.
- Excellent copywriting and editing abilities with a focus on storytelling, clarity, and engagement across digital formats.
- Demonstrated proactivity, independence, and problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple priorities without constant supervision.
- Collaborative mindset and adaptability within a fast-paced, international, and data-driven marketing environment.
