Nebesta is on a mission to use AI to automate the $500 billion customer service industry with true AI agents that don’t just answer to FAQ-questions, but can automate complex processes, autonomously use back-office tools, all while being safe, accurate, and easy to set-up.
We just raised an important seed round from Serena, Motier Ventures (Galeries Lafayette, La Redoute), Xavier Niel, Freestyle (US-based), Michaël Benabou (Veepee) as well as notable business angels, including founders of Bn€ start-ups in France & Germany (Alan, Car-on-Sale, Ankorstore, etc.) and former BPO executives.
We are Paris-based, with offices in the 9th arrondissements, but we welcome applicants from all over Europe as the Data & Engineering team will be remote-first.

ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
You'll work hand-in-hand with our experienced founding team:
- Nicolas Cohen: Founder & CEO of Ankorstore (€360M+ raised, valued at $2B), and Founder & CEO of A Little Market (acquired by Etsy).
- Ivan Litovsky: Former VP of Product at Ankorstore and Lead Product Manager on AI Models at Criteo.
- Marien Pinot: 10+ years of experience deploying machine learning models in production for companies like Airbus, Leboncoin, BackMarket, Ankorstore, Automattic, and Allianz.
- Jacques de la Bouillerie: Former COO of Doctolib and Groupon, with experience scaling customer service teams to over 300 agents.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will report directly to one of the CPO & co-founder, work hand-in-hand with engineers & ML engineers, and take an active role in the building of Nebesta’s Product:
Data Science
- You will use LLMs & other data science models to understand Human agents' tasks, build an automation roadmap for our clients, and measure AI agents' quality.
Metrics & KPIs
- Develop & refine performance metrics in the context of Customer Support (How to measure “accuracy”, etc.). You will be at the forefront of LLMs development & need to build innovative approaches to measure their quality.
- Design “AB tests” experiments in the context of LLMs to help Nebesta continuously measure & improve the performance of the AI agents.
Client-facing analysis
- Your analysis will be shared with clients to sell Nebesta AI agents, prioritize roadmaps with them, and demonstrate Nebesta’s AI agents' performance.
- You will need to summarize findings & recommendations to make them comprehensive for a non-technical audience.
- You will build standard reports and dashboards for internal as well as external usage.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- You have 7+ years of experience in quantitative analysis roles, including having worked closely with product & engineering teams.
- Specifically you have experience working with ML engineers on complex ML-related features (ex. Search, etc.)
- You have advanced knowledge of both SQL and Python
- Experience writing python in a production environment is a strong plus (writing clean code used in production, writing unit tests, etc.)
- Experience using & testing LLMs is a plus.
