Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our fast-growing team and help scale The Guard, our SaaS compliance platform for the healthcare industry. This is a high-impact role where you’ll design and build core features, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.

Your work will directly influence how medical practices nationwide achieve security and compliance — helping protect sensitive data while driving healthcare innovation.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and enhance major features of our SaaS platform.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, while learning from peers.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure security, scalability, and quality.
• Operate in a test-and-learn environment, balancing speed and stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a high-performing, agile culture.
• Identify and raise technical risks and improvement opportunities proactively.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or related field).
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proven success in dynamic, high-growth environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS.
• Familiarity with PHP.
