We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineering Manager to lead and manage a team within the NBCU Security Engineering organization. This role is responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of a team that partners with NBCU business areas and the Cyber Security organization to ensure technology is securely designed and deployed in alignment with enterprise strategies. The successful candidate will be accountable for managing the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring delivery of high-quality security engineering services, and collaborating with the broader Cyber Security Engineering organization to drive continuous improvement across processes and practices.
The Cyber Security Engineering Manager will lead a team responsible for conducting end-to-end security and threat analysis of enterprise initiatives involving new or modified technology deployments. This includes ensuring that Information Security best practices and guidelines are incorporated into system designs. The Manager will also be responsible for mentoring team members, managing team operations, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This individual will serve as a technical and engineering subject matter expert across various Cyber Security domains including network, application, cloud, and enterprise security controls. Finally, the Manager will effectively communicate the importance of key Cyber initiatives and services to obtain support, trust, and buy-in from the business.
