Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Finance Pre-Sales Engineer for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. This position will provide subject matter expertise and industry thought leadership in the core financial applications available within S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. These core applications include, but are not limited to, the following: organizational structures, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking, payments, fixed assets, planning, and budgeting.

Duties And Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Product Demonstrations

Partner with sales executives to discover and document key business objectives and customer requirements for transforming their business processes with innovative SAP enterprise solutions.
Collaborate with sales executives in identifying and documenting critical functionality gaps and propose technical solutions to resolve these gaps.
Deliver compelling product demonstrations, proof-of-concept, and technical presentations to prospective customers that address the key business objectives, customer requirements, and technical solutions to critical functionality gaps.
Develop and provide expert guidance on SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition capabilities, best practices, and implementation strategies.
Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and project managers, to deliver cohesive product demonstrations and implementation timelines.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear understanding of project scopes, timelines, and deliverables

Sales & Marketing

Participate in the creation of marketing materials and videos related to the core financial applications available within S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Maintain, expand, and improve product demonstration solutions, scenario slides, and presentations.
Educate sales executives on new product functionalities, technical advancements, and competitor landscapes to ensure effective sales conversations.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to maintain market knowledge.

Professional Development

Earn and maintain all required SAP authorizations and certifications (as needed).

Qualifications:

Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Required Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities:

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the core financial and reporting applications of SAP ERP solutions.
In-depth knowledge of relevant product technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Prioritize customer satisfaction and build strong relationships with potential customers.

Location

Remote in North America with regular travel required to customer sites for meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
