Mycelium Marketing is seeking an experienced Advertising Designer with a strong background in creating high-performing Meta (Facebook & Instagram) ad creatives. The ideal candidate will have experience using the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Premiere Pro, and a passion for designing scroll-stopping ads and short-form video content.

Mycelium Marketing is a purpose-driven creative agency specializing in social media advertising, search ads, and conversion rate optimization for direct-to-consumer brands on Shopify in the outdoor and wellness industries. We are passionate about making a positive impact for our clients.

Job Title: Advertising Designer

This is a part-time role that could quickly lead to a full-time position with benefits for the right person.

Responsibilities:

• Design static and animated ad creatives for paid social campaigns (primarily Meta/Facebook & Instagram, also TikTok and Youtube)
• Edit short-form video ads using brand-supplied assets or UGC
• Collaborate closely with our ad strategists to test and iterate creative concepts based on performance
• Organize and deliver assets in various sizes and formats optimized for placement and platforms
• Occasionally support our Conversion Rate Optimization and Web Development team with web design mockups for landing pages, banner designs, and other graphic elements
• Participate in internal and client-facing meetings to discuss creative strategy

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro; After Effects is a plus)
• Demonstrated experience designing high-performing ad creatives for Meta Ads
• Strong understanding of creative best practices for paid social platforms
• Experience editing short-form video content
• Experience working with eCommerce and DTC brands
• Experience using any 3rd party creative analytics tools is a bonus (Motion, Atria, etc.)
