Day to Day
- You will be our point person for Netherlands and Flemish Belgium – we’ll rely on you to understand and own the market, how we can grow there, and how we can improve our app
- You’ll lead our marketing team in Netherlands, and be responsible for growth of our user base in Netherlands and Flemish Belgium through marketing efforts
- This means understanding what will work in Netherlands, and creating the strategy around our marketing efforts to hit the targets
- You’ll be running projects end to end – could be working with influencers on Monday, creating social and digital ad content on Wednesday, and planning events on Fridays
- Brainstorming new creative ideas and strategies to execute on to help grow your market
- Measuring effectiveness of marketing activities you run and drawing key learnings from them
- Talking to customers by putting together focus groups – getting their feedback on the ground, and understanding their app experience
- Negotiating with ad agencies to run large OOH and billboard campaigns
Requirements
- 4+ years marketing experience in Netherlands
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch
- Experience working in fast-pace consumer tech or consumer brands
- Experience leading marketing teams
- Someone confident with using data to make decisions, always asking “why are we doing this and how can we do it better?”
- Must be able to travel a minimum of once a month
- Strong data skills and able to evaluate success of marketing activity
- Proven track record showing you understand how brands can be effective IRL and online
- A creative thinker – you’re brimming with ideas and not afraid of testing them and love working across different types of marketing activities, online to offline
- A strong understanding of Muslim culture and the Muslim scene in Netherlands – either lived or learned
- Good project management and communication skills. You’ll need to work with teams across multiple time zones
