As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a proactive and experienced Marketing Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on role and has a proven track record of driving brand awareness from within a business.
The Role:
We’re not looking for someone who ‘fell into marketing’ or who only has experience at an agency level. We need a true marketer—someone who understands the demands of being the in-house marketing lead, who can take ownership of our brand’s narrative, and who proactively drives initiatives without needing direction. You will be responsible for creating and managing content across our social media channels, writing engaging blog posts, organising client communications for events, and maintaining our brand's voice in all public communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop and execute a content calendar for our social media channels, including LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and more.
- Social Media Management: Post regularly, respond to comments, and actively engage with our audience to build a community.
- Blog Writing: Create insightful and relevant blog posts that align with our brand messaging and resonate with our target audience.
- Event Communications: Manage all communications when we attend events, including pre-event teasers, live updates, and post-event follow-ups.
- Proactive Engagement: Continuously identify new opportunities to increase brand awareness and engagement without waiting for instructions.
- Campaign Management: Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns, analyse their effectiveness, and adapt strategies as needed.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and report on the performance of marketing activities, using insights to drive improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of in-house marketing experience within a company (not just agency-side), ideally in a B2B or tech environment.
- Ownership Mentality: Ability to work independently, taking full ownership of the marketing strategy and execution.
- Initiative: A natural go-getter who actively seeks out ways to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Content Creation Skills: Proven experience writing engaging content and developing creative social media posts.
- Digital Marketing Knowledge: Strong understanding of how to effectively use digital marketing channels to drive business goals.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with other teams, such as sales and customer success.
Nice to Have:
- Graphic Design Basics: Ability to use tools like Canva for simple visuals.
- Experience with monday.com: Familiarity with our platform or similar tools would be a bonus.
Contract Information:
This is a full-time contract role. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing their own work equipment, including a laptop, reliable internet connection, and any other tools required to perform their duties effectively.
