In this high-profile role reporting to the CMO, you’ll work closely with the brand, product, technical, and marketing teams to drive user acquisition, retention, and long-term growth. You’ll be expected to think beyond the walls of the company—drawing ideas and best practices from across the industry and beyond. From building the infrastructure that powers our growth engine to collaborating across the org, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we scale and serve millions more.

You are a hands-on digital marketing and growth leader ready to exponentially grow the Musely brand—using every tool, tactic, and lever you know (and those you haven’t discovered yet). You move with urgency, focus relentlessly on what drives results, and bring strong analytical skills to uncover insights and guide decisions. You bring both strategic perspective and a willingness to dive into the details across paid and owned channels, as well as emerging platforms.
What You’ll Do
Oversee our acquisition strategy: Lead paid and owned marketing channels to build a scalable and efficient DTC growth engine—driving customer acquisition across paid search, paid social, SEO, and other emerging platforms.
Own key performance metrics: Manage to CAC, ROAS and LTV targets—ensuring efficient customer growth while hitting aggressive revenue goals.
Turn analysis into action: Use data to uncover insights into user behavior, campaign performance, and market trends—then translate findings into clear strategic decisions and optimizations.
Fuel a testing culture: Develop and manage a test-and-learn roadmap across channels and touchpoints to identify, validate, and scale new growth levers.
Drive effective use of marketing tools: Manage day-to-day systems, recommend improvements, and stay informed on martech solutions that enhance execution, tracking, and scalability.
Drive cross-functional alignment: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Brand teams to align growth initiatives, share insights, and accelerate execution across the funnel.
Lead and mentor: Grow and manage a high-performing team and agency partners across time zones—providing strategic guidance, setting clear goals, and holding teams accountable to outcomes.
Requirements
7+ years of experience in growth or performance marketing in a D2C or subscription-based businesses
Proven track record of scaling both acquisition and retention programs
Deep expertise across paid channels (e.g., Google, Meta, TikTok) and owned channels (e.g., SEO, email, SMS)
Fluency in core growth metrics and trade-offs that drive efficient scaling
Highly analytical and data-driven, with fluency in experimentation and funnel optimization
Experience managing 8-figure marketing budgets
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
Comfortable working in fast-paced, startup environments
Experience leading and mentoring teams
Passion for beauty and technology
BA or BS in Marketing, Business, or a related STEM field; MBA a plus
Salary Range: The total cash compensation which includes base and bonus is $110,000 - 170,000 USD annually, plus significantly valued equity options and benefits. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation varies based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. Our benefits programs include: paid vacation and paid holidays, 401(k) plan with employer match, employee stock purchase plan, a variety of medical, dental and vision plan options, and more. Contract positions generally offer a based salary and do not include benefits and other company incentives unless prior agreement.
