About The Role
As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible to grow their audience, elevate brand presence, and expand our reach across key platforms. This full-time role will focus on guiding social media strategy, shaping content direction, and collaborating closely with brand and marketing teams to drive engagement and growth.
Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy Development: Develop and manage platform-specific social media strategies aligned with brand objectives
- Content Direction & Creative Guidance: Propose post types and content direction, including post copy (within brand guidelines) and visual strategy (executed by our design team)
- Content Calendar Management: Build and maintain monthly content calendars using Asana and Hootsuite
- Platform Growth Strategy: Advise on platform growth across Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), and potentially Reddit
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Brand Manager, Social Media Specialist (executional support), and Paid Media Specialist to ensure consistent messaging across organic and paid media
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track performance and deliver weekly reports, offering insights and data-driven recommendations
- Trend & Algorithm Monitoring: Stay current with platform updates, algorithms, and trends to continuously optimize strategy
- Meta Ads Strategic Support: Provide strategic support for Meta ad campaigns in partnership with the paid media team
Competencies And Qualifications
Must-Have
- 3+ years of experience managing social media for retail or ecommerce brands
- Strong grasp of cross-platform growth strategies, audience engagement, and social media best practices
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret data and adapt strategies based on performance insights
