About The Role
We are seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to take charge of their email marketing efforts. The role involves overseeing customer support email journeys, optimizing email list growth, and managing inbound and outbound email campaigns. You will play a key role in enhancing customer engagement, nurturing leads, and improving retention through strategic email marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end email marketing campaigns for customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Design, implement, and optimize automated email journeys for onboarding, re-engagement, and customer support.
- Grow, segment, and maintain email lists to enhance personalization and targeting.
- Analyze email campaign performance and optimize based on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to create engaging email templates, copy, and visuals.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices for privacy regulations and email domain health (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.).
- Conduct A/B testing to continuously improve email performance and optimize for better results.
- Partner with sales, customer support, and product teams to align email marketing strategies with overall business goals.
Must-Have
Competencies and Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in email marketing, ideally within SaaS, e-commerce, or similar digital marketing environments.
- Strong understanding of email marketing strategy, including designing and executing effective campaigns.
- Expertise in audience segmentation to deliver targeted and personalized messaging.
- Proven ability to analyze email metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) and optimize campaigns for improved performance.
- Proficiency in designing and managing automated email journeys for onboarding, engagement, and customer support.
- In-depth knowledge of email marketing compliance and best practices (CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and ensuring adherence to privacy laws.
- Strong written communication and copywriting skills, with the ability to craft compelling email copy that resonates with recipients.
- Proficiency with email marketing tools (HubSpot preferred, but other platforms also acceptable).
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially across different time zones.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with A/B testing to improve email marketing performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Certifications in email marketing or related tools (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics, Mailchimp).
