E-commerce Graphic Designer

Position Type: Full-Time, but also open to Part-Time depending on candidate fit and availability

Location: Philippines (Remote)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible schedule with required overlap during Eastern Time business hours.A start time around 5:00–6:00 AM Philippine Time is preferred to allow overlap with the client’s team. During onboarding, stronger schedule alignment may be required for training and workflow setup.

Our client is a Canada-based hobby and trading card game retailer serving collectors, players, and hobby enthusiasts. They specialize in a wide range of products, including trading card games, sports cards, collectibles, model kits, and related hobby supplies. The company operates across both retail and eCommerce, with a strong focus on creating an engaging experience for the TCG and collectibles community.

About The Role

Our client is looking for a Graphic Designer to support their growing eCommerce and trading card game business. This role will focus on creating clean, polished, and engaging design assets for social media, website banners, Shopify visuals, private label product graphics, and other digital marketing materials.

The ideal candidate is a strong visual designer with an understanding of trading card games, pop culture, and eCommerce design. They should be comfortable working within existing templates and brand workflows while also bringing creative input to larger, more strategic design projects. The client emphasized that industry familiarity with Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, League of Legends, or other TCG/pop culture brands is important so the designer can create relevant visuals with less back-and-forth.

Responsibilities

• Social Media Graphic Design: Create engaging graphics for social media posts, announcements, product launches, and promotional campaigns
• Website & eCommerce Visuals: Design website banners, Shopify visuals, homepage graphics, collection assets, and other digital content for the online store
• Promotional & Ad Creative: Develop clean and polished digital ads, campaign graphics, and marketing assets that support product promotions and brand initiatives
• Private Label Design Support: Assist with private label product graphics, packaging-related visuals, and product launch assets as needed
• Template-Based Design Execution: Work within existing templates and workflows to produce recurring design assets efficiently and consistently
• Creative Concepting: Provide creative input for larger design projects such as website banners, campaign visuals, and long-term brand assets
• Short-Form Video Support: Create or assist with simple short-form video edits for social media using tools such as CapCut, Canva, or Adobe tools
• Streaming & Digital Asset Support: Assist with stream overlays, digital graphics, and other creative assets for online platforms when needed
• Brand & Industry Alignment: Ensure designs are visually aligned with the brand, audience, and trading card game or collectibles community
• Collaboration & Revisions: Work closely with internal stakeholders to receive feedback, make revisions, and improve design output over time
• Storefront Visual Ownership: Take ownership of the overall look and feel of the website, ensuring product listings, collection pages, and site visuals are cohesive, on-brand, and consistently refreshed to support campaigns, product launches, product updates, and new releases.

Competencies And Qualifications

• Shopify & eCommerce Visual Design: Proven experience managing complete storefront visual identity, including high-converting collection pages, custom promo banners, and overall site layout design.
• Performance-Driven Marketing Content: Skilled in designing high-performing digital marketing assets across social platforms, websites, and ad campaigns using data-backed visual hooks rather than just static graphics.
• Video Editing: Hands-on experience editing short or long-form video content using CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or Adobe Premiere and After Effects is preferred
• Design Software Proficiency: Expertise in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and the broader Adobe Creative Suite to produce clean, professional assets efficiently.
• Project Ownership & Initiative: Independent thinker capable of taking full ownership of creative briefs, solving design challenges autonomously, and bringing original ideas to life without needing hand-holding.
• TCG & Pop Culture Enthusiast: Authentic interest in and deep understanding of Trading Card Games and pop culture franchises, including Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, and League of Legends.
• Portfolio of Work: A strong design portfolio showcasing clean, polished, and commercially successful digital design projects across web, social, and marketing channels.
• Experience designing stream overlays or digital assets for streaming platforms is an advantage
