MultiDyne based in Kings Park leads the industry in pioneering signal conversion and fiber-optic-based transport systems for the broadcast, cable, satellite, production, digital cinema, surveillance, teleconferencing, and Pro AV markets across all business verticals. We are looking for a Director of Sales that is a highly talented, motivated, creative and experienced sales leader in the field of video and audio fiber optic transport systems. You will have responsibility for Global Account Management. This will be a highly collaborative role that partners with multiple functions in the organization including Regional Sales Management, Global Business Development, Product Management and Executive Management across Sales, Engineering and Operations. It is expected that this role will contribute significantly to the strategic growth plan.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the sales Team
- Provide day-to-day technical expertise to teammates across all sites.
- Provide insights into process improvements of the sales process.
- Perform annual performance reviews.
- Set sales goals and KPI’s.
- Be the owner of the sales forecast.
- Be a key contributor to the SIOP meeting, by collaborating with production and Engineering.
- Train, mentor and motivate the sales team.
- Create a growth strategy and executable plan.
- Utilize lean methodologies for continuous improvement.
- Prepare and monitor the sales and Marketing budget.
- Create, monitor marketing campaigns and improve them when necessary
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales, marketing metrics for the CEO and COO.
- Conduct market and competitors’ analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
- Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual management meeting.
- Works closely with regional sales managers to drive account growth, strategy development and execution.
- Coordinates with Engineering, Quality, accounting and Operations to ensure customers’ needs are met.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's-level Technical Degree a plus. (Engineering)
- 5-10+ years’ experience
- Ability to process data and effectively draw conclusions
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Lean background a plus.
