Job Title: E-Commerce Marketing Manager (Shopify)

Compensation: $70,000 – $90,000 annually

We are looking for a motivated E-Commerce Marketing Manager with a balance of technical skill, creative merchandising instincts, and a growth mindset to help elevate our digital presence and performance.
Position Overview:
The E-Commerce Marketing Manager will support the VP of E-Commerce in executing our online strategy, optimizing merchandising and pricing, developing high-converting landing pages, and enhancing the shopping cart experience. This role requires strong Shopify expertise, a collaborative spirit, and a willingness to expand technical skills over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Management:
- Manage daily operations in Shopify, including product uploads, promotions, and theme updates.
- Use analytics tools to monitor site performance and recommend optimizations.
Merchandising & Pricing:
- Develop and execute product merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Monitor competitive pricing and implement pricing updates to maintain market positioning.
- Manage product categorization, cross-selling, and promotional campaigns.
Landing Page Development:
- Create and optimize high-converting landing pages for marketing campaigns and product launches.
- Collaborate with designers and copywriters to align page content with brand standards.
- Track and analyze landing page performance, making data-driven improvements.
Shopping Cart & Checkout Optimization:
- Work with development and design teams to improve cart functionality and usability.
- Test new features and streamline checkout processes to boost conversion rates.
- Implement upsell, cross-sell, and bundling strategies within the cart experience.
Technical Support (HTML/CSS):
- Make minor edits to site design and layout using basic HTML and CSS.
- Troubleshoot small front-end issues and coordinate with the development team for larger fixes.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Regularly report on key ecommerce performance metrics, such as traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition cost.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to inform future strategies and improve website performance.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in e-commerce marketing, merchandising, or site management.
- Proven experience managing Shopify stores and features.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for light site edits.
- Strong understanding of digital merchandising and conversion optimization principles.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics.
- Creative thinker with a passion for improving the online shopping experience.
