The Role:
We are seeking an experienced, aggressive, and results-driven Digital Sales Executive to join our high-performing team. This is a crucial role for a self-starter who can confidently navigate the sales cycle from prospecting to close. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in digital marketing sales. Knowledge and experience within the home improvement sector is desirable. You will be responsible for working with existing relationships and identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with a focus on, long-term clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Aggressive Prospecting & Lead Generation: Proactively identify and engage with key decision-makers at home improvement companies (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical roofing, kitchen/bath remodeling, etc.).
- Consultative Selling: Conduct in-depth needs analysis with prospects to understand their business challenges and marketing goals.
- Solution Development: Craft and present tailored digital marketing proposals that align with the client's objectives and demonstrate a clear ROI.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecasting sales and reporting on progress to leadership.
- Negotiation & Closing: Expertly negotiate contracts and close deals, consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends and maintain a deep understanding of the home improvement industry's competitive landscape and unique needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing, account management and IT teams to ensure a seamless client onboarding experience and long-term success.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with clients.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B digital marketing sales, with a strong emphasis on selling Websites, SEO, SEM, backlinks, social media, and other digital services.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding aggressive sales targets.
- Previous experience in the home improvement industry is a significant advantage. You should be comfortable with industry terminology, business cycles, and common challenges faced by contractors.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex digital marketing concepts in a clear, compelling manner.
- High-energy, resilient, and persistent personality. You thrive in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Keap, Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage the sales pipeline.
- Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of a client's ROI.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
