Job Summary

The Marketing Automation and Data Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company's marketing automation platforms and data-driven marketing initiatives. This role will ensure the seamless execution of marketing campaigns, lead nurturing workflows, outreach sequences, and customer journeys through automation tools. The specialist will also work closely with marketing, sales, and analytics teams to manage and analyze customer data, providing actionable insights that improve targeting, segmentation, and overall campaign effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in marketing technology, excellent data analysis skills, and a keen ability to implement automated solutions that drive business growth.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day of the marketing data, technology systems, and integrations required to effectively launch, run, and report on campaigns (such as Salesforce, Hubspot, ZoomInfo, and more).
  • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems used to generate, distribute, and report on leads.
  • Ensure marketing data is being properly collected, cleansed, and connected with other systems such as Salesforce and other marketing databases.
  • Support marketing execution through the development of segmentation, lists, automation, and workflows, and more.
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise relating to data errors, system workflow gaps, and platform inconsistencies.
  • Write, build, and manage marketing Outreach sequences and HubSpot nurture campaigns.
  • Work cross-functionally with the SDRs to execute follow-up on marketing programs and always-on marketing sequences and to maximize conversion rates for key demand generation channels.
  • Collaborate with the GTM team and the Director of Business Development to update copy based on company positioning and sales team needs.
  • Determine sequence/campaign goals and set up reporting to analyze success.
  • Recommend optimization to outreach strategies and quickly implement them to test.

Skills/Abilities/Experience

  • Strong knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, etc.) and CRM tools (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel, Tableau, etc.).
  • Familiarity with lead scoring, segmentation strategies, and campaign optimization techniques.
  • Strong technical aptitude, with an ability to implement and troubleshoot automation workflows and integrations.
  • Solid understanding of customer lifecycle management and B2B marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and IT teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing automation, digital marketing, and/or data analysis.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel 3% of the time.
  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 10 lbs. weight
