Software Engineer in Test

Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Location: Remote (USA)

Job Type: Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking strong SDET professionals with solid coding fundamentals and experience in QA automation and test engineering. Salesforce experience is a plus but not mandatory. Candidates must be able to work independently, design test strategies, and contribute to automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
• Build and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts
• Perform test planning, test design, and test execution
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure product quality
• Identify, track, and resolve defects effectively
• Contribute to continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Required Skills

• Strong experience in SDET / QA Engineering roles
• Strong coding fundamentals (Java / Python / TypeScript preferred)
• Experience in Automation Testing and Manual Testing
• Strong knowledge of test case design and test planning
• Experience with API testing and UI automation
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Salesforce QA / Salesforce Automation (plus but not mandatory)
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Automation Toolkit (TypeScript-based in-house framework)
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
• Exposure to scalable distributed systems testing
