Senior Software Engineer- DATA Focused- Remote

Are you interested in diving into a brand new greenfield initiatives with a company in an exciting space? This is probably for you. In this role, you'll be responsible for re-architecting a large-scale platform in Golang. The platform itself is responsible for restaurant/staff scheduling. This platform is used by thousands of organizations across North America- so your overall impact will be significant. In addition- there is a data engineering component where you'll be doing a lot of cutting edge work.

There is definitely room for upward mobility, as the leadership structure is going to need to expand in the coming year or two. Lots of different pathways to go down, and if you are looking for something to expand your skillset.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years professional experience with Golang
• Experience with Big Data Tooling (AWS Glue, etc.)
• Experience with Kubernetes deployments
• Experience with deployments in cloud environments (AWS)
• Proven ability to build microservice applications

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience working within SaaS, Consulting, B2C
