Oracle Retail Software Engineer / Remote

Our client, one of the world's largest retail and apparel companies, is hiring for a contract Software Developer, Enterprise Apps. This is a remote position. PST/MST Hours are preferred.

Contract Duration: 3 Months

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong techno-functional experience in Oracle Retail Merchandising System - RMS.
• Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, UNIX Shell scripting, Oracle AQ, message services.
• Strong Performance Tuning skills with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience in developing and designing complex applications revolving around RMS + understanding production support and maintenance processes.
• Experience working on Web Service-Oriented Architecture for integrations.
• Experience working in event driven design and implementation patterns, containers and micro-services, REST APIs are a bonus.
• Experience with Kafka integration, Java Spring Boot, Azure Kubernetes and OCI is preferred.
• Connecting with teams offshore.

• Using effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with teams to develop and maintain enterprise applications.
• Leverage technical software development skills to create robust and scalable enterprise solutions.
