Associate Director, Marketing Projects
We are currently looking for a results-driven Associate Director, Marketing Projects to join the team in support of one of our biggest tech clients. The scope can span from supporting global/regional/local marketing teams, identifying operational efficiencies and defining new processes, to managing the end to end delivery of campaigns of varying scales. The incumbent ensures that projects are on time, on budget and in alignment with the project’s objectives and KPIs. They will work closely with the rest of the team and broader cross-functional stakeholders. They will also act as a lead for the other project managers on the team in managing intake, priorities and provide support as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Program management across global & cross-functional teams
- Build and maintain positive reciprocal relationships across global, regional and local teams, as well as cross-functional stakeholders
- Learn and keep up with the overall global strategy, resources available, and upcoming projects and timings, etc.
- Manage and resolve asks and questions quickly, based on situational timelines and asks across various teams
- Work closely with numbers, tracking, analyzing and laying out budget and project results in a succinct manner
Process development:
- Own defining and/or improving detailed processes and ways of working that can be adopted across global, regional and local teams (with cross functional team input)
- Support creation and implementation of tools/templates
- Proactive in identifying improvement opportunities within the team and proposing as well as developing new ways of working
Campaign/Project management:
- Utilize Google Workspace and other relevant tools to efficiently manage a project from end to end
- Workback schedule setup and management
- Develop and maintain R&Rs for clarity and effective project execution
- Facilitate and ensure efficient and sufficient communications across all stakeholders throughout the project, and operate as the central POC
- Manage project files, documentation, and operational ownership
- Schedule and facilitate executive reviews, conduct weekly status meetings, manage creative reviews, and refine meeting notes and communications
- Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed
Minimum qualifications
- You must meet these minimum qualifications to apply for this job:
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Google Workspace proficiency (preferred); at minimum, familiar with Office 365
- Highly organized, with a very strong attention to detail
- Self-starter who can drive multiple projects spontaneously, proactive in identifying gaps and provide strategic and operational solutions
- Ability to work smart in a fast-paced environment independently, and as part of a team
- Demonstrated proficiency coordinating across large cross-functional organizations and navigating a multitude of stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt based on audience and/or communication channel(s)
Preferred qualifications
Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable:
- Experience delivering global marketing programs end to end
- Project management experience working on a global team and working across: regional teams, cross-functional teams, internal leadership, and external agencies (managing expectations, updates, etc)
- Proficiency drafting and managing cross-functional stakeholder comms and updates (status notes, exec updates, newsletters, etc)
- Experience presenting to and interacting with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders (across marketing, PR, product, Finance, BD etc.)
- Strong analytical skills against metrics and KPIs
