Job title : Channel Campaign Manager -- Email

Location : Remote

Duration: 6 months; with possible extensions

Must Haves:

  • Direct Mail (DM): A minimum of 3 years working with direct mail vendors to bid print jobs and execute and audit print campaigns.
  • Email (EM): A minimum of 2 years of work experience with one or more of the following: email marketing, database marketing, data segmentation, data collection, digital marketing, direct mail production, web page building and/or html.
  • Project management and workflow updating experience; minimum of 2 years preferred, with experience in a PM platform like Workfront preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing audience/file selection and segmentation, and executing campaign build, audit/testing, and deployment.

Role: Campaign Marketing Manager (Email & Direct Mail)

The Campaign Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring thoughtful, on time delivery of direct marketing projects supporting internal client marketing campaigns across Email and Direct Mail. This role manages audience/list selection and segmentation, build, audit/testing, and deployment/execution of marketing campaigns. The Campaign Marketing Manager is an expert in project management, process best practices, and channel execution capabilities.

This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. On occasion we may request for you to commute to our nearest office for in person technical set-up.

Essential Responsibilities

The Campaign Marketing Manager will execute and manage campaign work across Email and Direct Mail channels, coordinating closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely delivery.

  • Liaise with Client Marketing Team and stakeholders within Performance Marketing to deliver effective and timely direct marketing campaign projects.
  • Manage file/list selection and segmentation of channel marketing audiences and facilitate accurate execution of “file only” requests.
  • Work within designated channel platforms to build and successfully launch direct marketing campaigns; act as Subject Matter Expert in channel platform capabilities.
  • Perform creative and data auditing and testing to ensure campaign accuracy.
  • Update workflow management tool in real time to inform Pod managers and project initiators on campaign project status and timing.
  • Work within an agile, fast-paced marketing environment.
  • Utilize project management tools to ensure all campaigns meet required campaign approval, retention, testing, launch, and documentation requirements within the Campaign Execution process.
  • Drive data-driven results and/or cost savings back to client teams for continuous campaign improvement.
  • Continued cross-channel upskilling in email, direct mail, mobile campaign execution, and other channels as added.

Channel-Specific Responsibilities (Email and Direct Mail)

In addition to shared campaign execution responsibilities, this role includes the following channel-specific accountabilities.

  • Email (EM): Build, audit, test, and deploy marketing campaign emails within designated ESP/channel platforms.
  • Email (EM): Ensure accurate audience selection/segmentation and successful launch aligned to campaign timelines.
  • Direct Mail (DM): Manage bid review, supplier selection, list selection and segmentation, build, audit, and deployment/execution of direct mail campaigns.
  • Direct Mail (DM): Work within direct mail process and with direct mail vendors to bid print jobs, evaluate bids, award, and execute campaigns.
  • Direct Mail (DM): Ensure adherence to company purchase order and invoice management procedures, including compliance with records retention and related processes.

Qualifications / Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or in lieu of degree high school diploma/GED and a minimum of 6 years of Marketing or Digital project experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing audience/file selection and segmentation, and executing campaign build, audit/testing, and deployment.
  • Direct Mail (DM): A minimum of 3 years working with direct mail vendors to bid print jobs and execute and audit print campaigns.
  • Email (EM): A minimum of 2 years of work experience with one or more of the following: email marketing, database marketing, data segmentation, data collection, digital marketing, direct mail production, web page building and/or html.
  • Project management and workflow updating experience; minimum of 2 years preferred, with experience in a PM platform like Workfront preferred.

Preferred Experience and Attributes

  • Demonstrated project management and workflow updating skills; working in a PM platform like Workfront preferred.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven or agile environment.
  • Email: 2+ years email campaign experience, with hands on experience building and deploying commercial email or equivalent experience with html/web page building.
  • Email: 2+ years working in an ESP like Salesforce, Responsys, Zeta, PCM/Harmony or Cheetah.
  • Direct Mail: Demonstrated ability to manage vendor engagement, bid review/evaluation, award, and execution for print campaigns.
  • Demonstrated use of a Purchase Order and Invoicing Management system like Coupa preferred.
  • Experience in consumer financial services with exposure to a credit card or retail environment.
  • Experience working with data segmentation and data auditing.
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems, develop new tactics, and address implementation obstacles.
  • Strong Change Management skills; effective communicator, good at holding "crucial conversations" with clients and internal partners.

Demonstrated aptitude in the Microsoft Office suite including SharePoint, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint.
