Senior Software Engineer

Senior + Staff level Full Stack Engineer | Node.js, TypeScript, AWS

• Berlin, Remote-first
• Quarterly meetups in Berlin - office attendance optional during the week
• €100,000 - €110,000 Senior, or up to €125,000 Staff + bonus, + equity

You will be joining a Series A start-up that have grown exponentially in 18 months, with an engineering headcount now at ~35. You'll be building at the cutting edge of AI, developing products that are transforming the world of AI Brand Visibility and Search.

You’ll be joining as a hands-on, Senior Software Engineer with a view to stepping up into leadership as the business continues to grow and play a central role in designing and scaling LLM-powered applications that drive real-world impact - core focus right now is backend and cloud infrastructure with a huge focus on scalability

This is a high-ownership opportunity to work alongside an experienced team of Fullstack Software Engineers, AI engineers, product managers, and designers, solving complex challenges, influencing product direction, and helping shape the future of AI-driven marketing.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead architecture and implementation of scalable and secure applications
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices and work closely with CTO & Co-Founder
• Mentor & coach other Engineers
• Continuously iterate and improve performance and scalability as the team moves towards Series B
• Always reflecting - what could be optimized, what mistakes might have been made, what challenges might we face in the future? etc. etc.

Requirements & qualifications for this position:

• 5+ years in full-stack development, with strong TypeScript & Node.js experience.
• Proven track record building and scaling products, and team headcount
• Strong architectural knowledge and commercial acumen
• Experience in high-growth, high-traffic application scaling
• Great communicator - period.
• VC-Backed start-up experience is a real bonus
