Lead UX Designer

Role Description

This is a contract-based, fully remote role for a Lead UX Designer based in India. You’ll be the primary designer shaping our early product experience—from research to refinement.

You’ll lead user research, create intuitive flows and prototypes, and work closely with the founder and development team to translate complexity into calm. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. We're looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, designs for trust, and brings structure to messy, real-world problems.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of mobile-first product design experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating clarity in complex or information-dense interfaces
• Proficiency in user research, design thinking, and rapid prototyping
• Strong skills in information architecture, interaction design, and visual hierarchy
• Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and collaborate remotely
• Experience designing workflows for coordination or multi-user environments is a plus
• Familiarity with AI-enabled interfaces or trust-sensitive domains is a bonus
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
