The Role

This is a contract-based, fully remote role for a Lead UX Designer based in India to start. But for the right person, it has strong potential to convert into a full-time opportunity as the product and team grow.

You’ll be the primary designer shaping our early product experience—from insight to interface. This isn’t just a “craft” role or a “strategy” role. It’s both. You’ll:

• Lead generative and evaluative user research
• Create intuitive flows and robust information architecture
• Design elegant, mobile-first experiences that build trust
• Collaborate closely with the founders and developers to ship real value

Who We’re Looking For

You're emotionally intelligent, mission-driven, and motivated by real-world impact—not just pixel-perfect screens or portfolio polish.

You’ve led the full arc of product design—especially on mobile apps. You ask sharp questions, translate ambiguity into clarity, and take pride in both the insight and the execution.

You design with care, balancing structure, interaction, and visual clarity to build trust. You roll up your sleeves, and you know that getting the details right is what creates great experiences.

What You’ll Need

• 7–10 years of design experience, with at least two full consumer app design cycles—from research to release
• A portfolio that shows clear thinking, crisp interaction design, and strong visual polish
• Prior experience designing consumer-facing mobile apps is essential. B2B-only experience won’t be a fit for this role.
• Comfort working end-to-end: from insight generation to wireframes to high fidelity UIs
• A bias for clarity over cleverness
• Hands-on execution mindset—this is not a strategy-only or oversight role
• Mission-driven attitude: we’re building something that matters, and it shows in how you work
• Bonus: Experience designing for coordination, trust, or multi-user flows
