The Role: UX / Product Designer

📍 Location: Lisbon

🏢🏠 Work Model: hybrid - 2 days a week in the office

💰🏦 Sector: Financial Services

🗣️ Languages: English (C1)

✅ Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work there

🧑 Mandatory Requirements (Non‑Negotiable)

• 3-4+ years experience as UX/Product Designer;
• UI/UX design, interaction design and pixel-perfect execution;
• React, TypeScript, Angular (design-to-dev collaboration);
• TailwindCSS, ViteJS and modern frontend tooling familiarity;
• CI/CD awareness and modern dev workflows;
• UI testing tools: Jest, RTL, Cypress and/or Playwright;
• End-to-end UX process (research, design, prototyping, validation);
• Degree in HCI, Interaction Design or related;
• Portfolio mandatory.

Nice to have:

• Design systems / component libraries (e.g. MUI);
• User research (qualitative & quantitative methods);
• Design thinking & workshop facilitation;
• Java 21 / Spring Boot (backend exposure);
• GitHub / GitLab workflows;
• Experience in enterprise / large-scale products.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end UX/Product design, translating needs into UI/UX solutions while collaborating in Agile teams;
• Maintain design systems, conduct usability testing, iterate on feedback, and ensure responsive, consistent design with effective dev handoff and delivery quality.
