What You Will Do

• Participate in and contribute/lead technical design and discussions with peers and stakeholders to decide the best technical approaches to product problems
• Write and test high-quality product or system development code
• Participate in code reviews and provide valuable feedback to ensure quality and outcomes
• Setup and maintain the cloud infrastructure for your product and tools
• Contribute to new and existing documentation and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on operations and quality

_Note that if you currently do not have experience with Solidity and Web3, you will be expected to pick it up and execute it within a production environment quickly.

Requirements

What You Will Bring

• 6 years of experience in a software engineering role, within a product or engineering-led team
• Strong ability to break down business requirements into technical requirements, and communicate technical tradeoffs
• Experience working and/or leading technical scrum teams
• Confident in our Web2 technology stack: NextJS, Tailwind (Shacdn), Typescript, Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, NestJS
• Confident in system and architecture design e.g. event-driven architectures, three-tier architecture, pub/sub, MVC, caching and distributed sytems.
• Comfortable in a serverless and microservice architecture
• Comfortable with setting up, maintaining and monitoring cloud infrastructure (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerisation (e.g. docker)
• Plus Points:
• Familiar with Solidity and EVM
• Familiar with gaming development tools e.g. unity, aws lumberyard
