Responsibilities:

Develop Advanced Analytic Algorithms:

Design, implement, and optimize advanced algorithms to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
Utilize machine learning and statistical techniques to predict trends, identify patterns, and drive data-driven decisions.

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

Analyze large datasets using SQL to identify key trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
Interpret and communicate analytical findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Collaboration and Strategy:

Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, finance, operations) to understand business needs and translate them into analytical requirements.
Develop and maintain analytics roadmaps that align with company goals and objectives.

Data Management:

Manage and analyze data stored in Microsoft Fabric, ensuring data integrity and security.
Utilize Azure tools and services for data integration, processing, and analysis.

Programming and Automation:

Write efficient and scalable code in Python and SQL for data analysis and automation of tasks.
Continuously improve existing codebases and analytics processes.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

Create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor the performance of implemented algorithms and business metrics.
Provide regular updates and insights to senior management.

Mentorship and Leadership:

Lead the development of advanced analytic use cases throughout the company, taking ownership of developed product and upskilling colleagues in ways of workings and best practices.

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics and data science.
Proven track record of developing and implementing advanced analytic algorithms.
Proven track record of supporting business teams such as sales, marketing, finance, and operations.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Python, with at least 4 years hands-on experience.
SQL experience, with at least 2 years in an analytics role.
Good understanding of Azure tools and technologies. Experience with Microsoft Fabric is beneficial.
Strong understanding of machine learning, statistical modelling, and data mining techniques.
Proficiency with data visualization tools, such as PowerBI, to create interactive dashboards and presenting data insights

Analytical Skills:

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets.
Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Ability to identify gaps in available data and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders and IT on how to gather or acquire missing data, using innovative methods and leveraging the latest technology.
Experience in testing data models, validating data accuracy, and implementing quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality analysis and results.

Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in creating actionable reports and dashboards.

Leadership and Collaboration:

Demonstrated ability to work independently, lead projects and work effectively in cross- functional teams.
Experience mentoring junior team members is a plus.

Adaptability:

Ability to manage workloads from a range of departments and prioritize work effectively.
Continuous learning mindset and openness to new tools and technologies.
