Senior C++ Software Engineer – Fintech Infrastructure Contract 6 Months

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Location: Remote (Candidates must be based in Armenia, North Macedonia, Serbia, or Turkey)

Work Hours: Full-time (8 hrs/day), with mandatory 4-hour overlap with UTC+4:00

Compensation: Based on experience (internal range: $20–34/hr USD)

Notice Period: Immediate to 2 weeks

Note: This is a contract position with no additional benefits such as medical or paid leave. Candidates must handle their own tax and statutory obligations. Dual employment is not allowed.

A well-established international brokerage firm is seeking an experienced C++ Engineer to support their large-scale digital transformation. With a presence across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, the company is modernizing its systems to deliver highly personalized and efficient trading experiences. This role involves developing high-performance, low-latency trading systems in collaboration with globally distributed engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop low-latency, high-throughput trading applications using C++.
• Work on system optimization, performance tuning, and network efficiency.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to design scalable financial software.
• Contribute to system modernization efforts including messaging protocol optimization (e.g., FIX, SBE).
• Follow best practices in multithreading, design patterns, and networking.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with C++ development in trading, brokerage, or financial domains.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Proven experience with multithreading and network programming.
• Familiarity with financial messaging protocols like FIX, SBE, or FlatBuffers is a strong advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure, agile environments.

Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
