Secure Software Engineer C++ & Cybersecurity (6-Month Contract)

Contract Details

• Duration: 6-12 months
• Work Hours: 40 hours/week (5-hour PST overlap required)
• Compensation: $15-30 per hour
• Notice Period: 2 weeks

Role Overview

Join a cutting-edge team at the intersection of cybersecurity, AI, and software engineering. This role focuses on secure, scalable software development using C++ and other technologies while applying AI-driven security insights.

Required Skills & Experience

Programming Languages: Proficiency in at least two of the following:

• Python (OOP, frameworks like Flask, Django, FastAPI)
• SQL (query optimization, relational database design)
• HTML/CSS (front-end development)
• JavaScript (front-end or full-stack)
• C++/C# (systems-level or enterprise applications)
• Java (backend services or Android development)

Cybersecurity Expertise: Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, secure coding practices, and compliance standards.

Software Development Practices: Strong code organization, testing methodologies, and clean coding principles.

AI & Prompt Engineering: Familiarity with GenAI tools like ChatGPT, including awareness of biases and limitations.

Problem-Solving & Algorithms: Ability to diagnose issues, optimize solutions, and enhance system architecture.
