About The Role
We are looking for a Motor Control Algorithm Engineer to develop software for EV motor controllers. The role involves designing motor control algorithms, implementing them on embedded systems, and integrating them with vehicle propulsion systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop software for EV motor controllers.
- Develop motor control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink and implement them on DSPs or microcontrollers.
- Work with motors such as BLDC, PMSM, SRM, and axial flux motors.
- Integrate motor controller software with vehicle systems like BMS and VCU.
- Perform system testing, validation, and performance optimization.
- Prepare design documentation and ensure compliance with automotive standards.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics / E&TC Engineering or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in motor controller design or embedded systems.
- Experience with motor control algorithms and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Programming knowledge in C/C++ for embedded systems.
- Understanding of FOC, PWM, MTPA, and field weakening control techniques.
- Knowledge of DSP/microcontroller-based control implementation.
- Familiarity with automotive standards such as ISO 26262 is a plus.
