Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Events Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate events and meetings across the Modaxo Americas and Australia/New Zealand portfolio. This role is critical in elevating our brand presence, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and supporting business development through high-impact event experiences.
This role requires frequent travel across North America and internationally for event execution. The individual must be comfortable with regular travel commitments, including, for larger events, 2-3 trips per event for pre-contracting venue site visits, in-person pre-event planning meetings, and on-site execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end event execution for internal and external events and in-person meetings, including conferences, trade shows, executive roundtables, and employee engagement initiatives. Developing event concepts, managing budgets, creating timelines, and overseeing all logistics (venue, catering, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, HR and Executive Leadership) to align event goals with business priorities.
- Engage with global teams to align and support with company-wide events and initiatives.
- Manage event logistics: venue selection, vendor coordination, registration, travel, catering, and on-site execution.
- Develop and manage event budgets, timelines, and post-event reporting (ROI, lead generation, feedback).
- Partner with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all event materials and communications.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across Modaxo Business Units and serve as the primary liaison with tradeshow vendors and show service providers (i.e. material handling, I&D) to ensure seamless execution of large-scale external events. Building and maintaining relationships with vendors, sponsors, and other key stakeholders.
- Maintain a calendar of events and proactively identify new opportunities for brand exposure.
- Gathering attendee feedback and analyzing event performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and inform future events.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in event management, preferably in a B2B or corporate environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with stakeholders, vendors, and attendees.
- Creative thinker with a passion for delivering memorable experiences.
- Ability to develop innovative event concepts and marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in social media management and content creation is expected.
- Experience with relevant media tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and AI tools.
