Software Engineer

ROLE SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and ownership-driven Software Engineer – .NET to join our team and support a reputed client. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using modern .NET technologies. You will build full-stack solutions with .NET, Angular, SQL Server, and AWS, develop and integrate RESTful APIs, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean, maintainable code, continuous improvement, and delivering reliable solutions in an agile environment.

JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable applications using modern .NET technologies
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new software modules and features
• Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Utilize full-stack development skills to build responsive and user-friendly web applications
• Manage database design and queries using Entity Framework, ADO.NET, and SQL Server
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services as needed
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues efficiently
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, designers, and QA teams to deliver successful project outcomes
• Provide technical support for production systems and participate in deployments
• Contribute to the documentation of software design and development processes

REQUIRED EXPERIENCES, COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

Essential

• Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Work experience: 2–4 years of experience in full-stack software development

Technical skills:

• Proficiency in .NET and serverless framework
• Expertise in Entity Framework Core, ADO.NET, SQL Server, MSSQL
• Strong front-end development skills with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Typescript, and Angular
• Experience in developing and consuming Web APIs.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or mocking frameworks such as Moq
• Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, EC2, RDS, etc.). Proficient in, Git, and other version control tools
• Exposure to CI/CD practices and tools is a plus, including GitHub Actions, and AWS Code Pipeline
• Experience with performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting .NET applications
• Experience with Claude Code development and issue reviews
