We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to oversee and drive the successful execution of strategic initiatives. This role requires expertise in program assurance, financial oversight, risk management, and ROI tracking, ensuring that programs align with business goals and deliver measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally to track budgets, mitigate risks, and optimize program performance, ensuring efficient execution and long-term value creation.
Job Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Program Assurance & Execution
- Ensure that all initiatives align with strategic objectives and meet quality, timeline, and performance expectations
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks to track project health, dependencies, and key milestones
- Implement best practices for program management, ensuring consistency and efficiency across initiatives
Budgeting & Financial Oversight
- Develop and monitor program budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and financial alignment
- Work closely with finance teams to track spending, forecast future costs, and justify budget allocations
- Ensure that investments are optimized to maximize business impact and minimize waste
Risk Management & Issue Resolution
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and roadblocks to ensure smooth execution
- Develop and implement contingency plans to address unexpected challenges
- Regularly communicate risk assessments and action plans to stakeholders
ROI Tracking & Performance Measurement (for multiple initiatives)
- Define and track KPIs, program ROI, and key success metrics, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Conduct regular performance reviews to compare planned vs. actual achievements and drive continuous improvement
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership for course corrections.
Stakeholder & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with executive leadership, project teams, finance, and operations to ensure seamless program execution
- Act as a liaison between teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of priorities
- Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and efficiency across all initiatives
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- 15+ years of proven experience in program management, strategic planning, and governance
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting
- Expertise in risk assessment, issue resolution, and contingency planning
- Ability to define and track KPIs to measure ROI and program success
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills across multiple teams
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in enterprise-level programs with multi-million-dollar budgets.
- Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, or Lean methodologies.
