This position is within our Vero Technology Ventures business unit.

Role Description

We are creating a digital marketing business unit to serve both our internal needs, as well as those of outside clients. We see opportunities of size in both B2C and B2B markets, and need an individual capable of building a business including evaluating new A.I. based solutions in a real operating enviornment. Curiosity and creativity will be needed to build the best real world solutions for ourselves, and our clients.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be executing a startup of this business unit. The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for finding and testing new A.I. based solutions, including some inhouse applications under development.

From a client perspective you will be executing digital marketing strategies, managing social media accounts, conducting web analytics, and implementing online marketing campaigns. Daily tasks will include creating and optimizing content for all digital platforms and monitoring performance to ensure effective engagement and reach, and most importantly tracking results and performance against targets and budgets so that improvements can be made. You need to have demonstrated leadership, management and P&L experience, with a desire to grow and build an organization.

Compensation will be both a base plus performance bonus with potential equity participation. This may start part time but is expected to grow to full time quickly. The candidate will largely be responsible for that decision based on their proposed business plan and strategy.

Qualifications

• Digital Marketing and Online Marketing skills
• Proficiency in Social Media Marketing
• Experience with Web Analytics
• Strong Communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms is a plus
• A desireable component might be a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Computer Science related area, but demonstratable sucess from hard work is equally respected.
