You’ll help evolve products by owning end-to-end feature development across modern web stacks.

🧠 How You'll Contribute

• Building full-stack features in React/Typescript (Next.js, Rails-React hybrid).
• Developing a Python/FastAPI service layer for orchestrating AI features like LLMs, STT/TTS, and eval harnesses.
• Migrating Career Explorer flows into a partner Rails + React codebase, creating clean service boundaries.
• Integrating with external APIs (LLMs, YouTube, Canvas LTI, etc.).
• Designing clean, scalable APIs and database schemas.
• Writing secure, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Using AI coding tools (e.g., Copilot, CodeWhisperer) to accelerate development without sacrificing quality.

🧬 What Makes You a Great Fit

• 5+ years of experience building web products, especially with React (Next.js) or Ruby on Rails.
• Are comfortable jumping between monolithic Rails apps, Next.js front-ends, and Python microservices.
• Have strong engineering fundamentals: API design, schema design, testing, and performance optimization.
• Have experience with LLMs, RAG, STT/TTS, or real-time voice/chat features.
• Are familiar with or excited to learn tools like Canvas LTI, WebRTC, and eval harnesses.
• Communicate clearly and asynchronously; collaborate well via Zoom, Slack, and docs.
• Can overlap 10am–2pm ET, with flexibility to extend to 10–5pm ET.
