We’re growing fast and we don’t settle for average. We’re looking for a Marketing Generalist who lives, eats, and breathes marketing — someone who has worked across every marketing channel, thrives on challenges, and can lead by execution, not just ideas.
You’ll be the CEO’s right hand in marketing — driving growth, innovation, and results with excellence, speed, and creativity. This role demands ownership, obsession, and the ability to lead through action.
⚠️ Before You Apply
This is not an easy job.
It’s not for beginners or for those figuring things out as they go.
We’ve had two people fail at this role already — because this position demands relentless execution, creativity, and excellence.
You Need To Be Someone Who
- Takes marketing personally — every click, ad, and campaign matters to you.
- Moves fast, learns faster, and never makes the same mistake twice.
- Doesn’t need to be pushed; you push yourself harder than anyone else.
- Can handle high expectations, direct feedback, and full accountability.
Your First 90 Days Are Your Proving Ground — Not To Deliver Miraculous ROI, But To Prove You Have What It Takes
your mindset, speed, communication, creativity, and alignment with our expectations.
If you meet that standard, you’ll have the freedom, resources, and trust to scale your vision.
If not, this won’t be the right fit.
Role Overview
The Marketing Generalist will lead and execute all marketing operations, while managing two marketing team members and reporting directly to the CEO. You’ll own strategy and execution across HubSpot, Paid Media, SEO, Website Optimization, Content, and Affiliates, and be expected to create clear, transparent reporting on marketing performance.
You will also represent the marketing function in investor meetings — presenting performance updates, strategies, and growth insights confidently and professionally.

- Present marketing progress and strategic insights to investors and stakeholders when needed.
- Execution Excellence
- Manage and optimize HubSpot workflows, analytics, and campaign automation.
- Create and scale Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and multi-channel paid campaigns.
- Lead the SEO strategy — technical, on-page, and off-page — to grow organic reach.
- Oversee website design, UX, and CRO to increase lead conversion.
- Manage and produce high-quality content, blogs, and affiliate programs that drive traffic and awareness.
- Maintain data accuracy and perfect visibility across all marketing operations.
- Innovation & Continuous Growth
- Experiment weekly — new channels, creative angles, and tactics.
- Analyze and report performance transparently, with a clear understanding of metrics.
- Stay ahead of emerging marketing trends, tools, and automation opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product and Sales to align marketing with business performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on, cross-channel marketing experience.
- Deep HubSpot expertise (automation, CRM, analytics, reporting).
- Proven ability to manage Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and paid media campaigns.
- Strong SEO knowledge — keyword research, strategy, and optimization.
- Experience improving websites and landing pages for performance and conversion.
- Data-driven mindset and mastery of marketing analytics.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills — including for investor meetings.
- A passion for execution, precision, and constant improvement.
Preferred Experience
- B2B SaaS or MarTech background.
- Experience in startups or high-growth environments where speed and accountability are critical.
- Familiarity with email deliverability, CRMs, or automation technology.
- Knowledge of analytics and optimization tools (Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Hotjar, Figma).
What Success Looks Like
- Marketing reports that impress both the CEO and investors.
- Consistent, measurable growth in traffic, leads, and conversions.
- A high-performing marketing team under your leadership.
- Innovation, experimentation, and execution speed that set new standards.
- A reputation for excellence, ownership, and strategic creativity.
Final Note
If you’re looking for comfort or a “balanced” workload, this isn’t for you.
If you’re driven by impact, pressure, and challenge — this might be your dream job.
You’ll be trusted, challenged, and expected to deliver.
And if you do — you’ll play a defining role in building one of the most innovative companies in email infrastructure.
