Senior Software Engineer

This is a remote role in Spain.

What

We are looking for a senior software engineer who is excited about shaping a global, scalable product called Minka Ledger.

High throughput of thousands of messages per second, effective data management, resilience, flexibility, and extensibility are some of the key topics you will deal with.

We are building developer-focused deep tech tools and you will work closely with an experienced engineering team.

We value highly motivated, somewhat crazy, and creative individuals.

Whom

Required Skills

• You are not just a coder; you are a software engineer with seven years of experience building complex backend systems, preferably using NodeJs and the public cloud.

• You love building scalable, low latency, highly available services and developer tools.

• You have an in-depth knowledge of how computer systems and the internet work, and write great, clean code that can power mission-critical software. You know what a bit is and what bitcoin is.

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computing, or a similar field.

• You have experience working on scalable payments solutions.

Nice to Have Skills

• Seen Mr. Robot TV show.
• You are a weekend hacker and run your own bitcoin node.

How

To ensure we are a great fit for each other and are changing the world for years to come, we run a short, clean interview process.

This three-step process is usually completed in approximately 3 weeks after the first contact and takes around 4 hours of your time in total.

The process includes a live pair programming challenge to build a simple prototype, technical round with our CTO and a Q&A session with our CEO to resolve any questions or doubts you may have about the company.
