Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Data Scientist with minimum 5 years exoerience. The Data Scientist will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to extract meaningful insights, developing statistical models, and creating data visualizations to support decision-making processes. Additional tasks will include collaborating with healthcare providers to implement analytics solutions, identifying trends, and providing data-driven recommendations to optimize healthcare operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop best in class ML models, train, evaluate performance and optimize models
• Productize ML models, collaborate with data engineers and ML Ops to deploy models into production while ensuring scalability
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of ML models
• Conduct analysis to extract insights from data
• Collaborate with data engineers to build scalable data pipelines

Skills:

• Proficiency in developing and deploying machine learning and deep learning models
• Expertise in Python and SQL with strong knowledge of Python based ML/DL frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-learn.
• Extensive experience with statistical modeling (regression, trees, boosting, random forests, etc.)
• Proficiency in working with large, tabular datasets, and applying data science techniques for data analysis
• Experience in leveraging Generative AI, transformers architecture (BERT, GPT etc) and proficiency in working with embeddings.
• Good understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Text Preprocessing, Text Classification, Entity Recognition.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g.AWS) and related services
• Experience in monitoring ML models in production ensuring robust health and performance while enabling continuous improvement
• Experience with RDBMS, NoSQL and vector databases
• Knowledge of REST APIs and Web Services
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms and software engineering

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience
• Proficiency in Data Science and Data Analysis techniques
• Solid understanding of Statistics and Data Analytics methods
• Experience in Data Visualization tools and techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
